Just Ice burst out of Ft. Greene, Brooklyn back in 1986 with his universally beloved debut single "LaToya" / "Put That Record back On" and the follow up LPs Back To The Old School and Kool & Deadly (produced by KRS ONE). As a member of Boogie Down Productions, Just Ice was one of the true school rappers that turned the late 80s/early 90s into such a golden period for hip hop. In recent years, Just Ice has fully embraced his Yard Man vibe by developing into a respected selector of Jamaican music from the foundation of Studio One all the way up to new school boomshots!
